ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

NanoXplore is a graphene company, a manufacturer and supplier of high volume graphene powder for use in industrial markets. Our team brings together a deep understanding of carbon chemistry – from graphite to graphene – along with the industrial experience required to improve the performance of our customers’ products.

OUR COMPANY

THE STORY BEHINd INNOVATION

Established in 2011, NanoXplore has its headquarters and graphene production facilities in Montréal, Quebec, and its plastic production facility in Delson, Quebec and Vallorbe, Switzerland. In 2013, we filed our first graphene production patent and began to scale from lab to full scale production.

NanoXplore provides customers with a range of graphene-based solutions including GrapheneBlack™ powder, and heXo-G graphene-plastic masterbatch pellets and graphene-enhanced polymers.

We have two operating divsions, one focused on graphene production and the other on plastics.

NANOXPLORE GRAPHENE

A WORLD-CLASS GRAPHENE PRODUCER

NanoXplore has established a 25 tonnes/year graphene powder production plant in Montréal, designed with a modular structure and with a planned production capacity of up to 70 tonnes/year. Partnered with Canadian mining company Mason Graphite, NanoXplore has access to a stable, long term, large flake source of graphite material from Quebec. NanoXplore’s facility includes a unique graphene-plastic compounding facility with a capacity of 400 tonnes/year of graphene-enhanced plastic masterbatch pellets. NanoXplore’s highly qualified Research and Product Development team is supported by a fully equipped material characterisation and test laboratory. Our team has specific expertise in development and formulation of carbon additives, such as graphite and graphene, to improve the performance of industrial materials.

NANOXPLORE PLASTICS

NanoXplore Plastics provides customers with a full range of injection and blow molded products from our production facilities in Vallorbe, Switzerland and Delson, Quebec.

Vallorbe

NanoXplore Plastics’s Vallorbe plant provides high quality and high precision injection molding products meeting the most exacting requirements.

These custom injection molded products use:

  • micromolding technology for very small plastic parts for industries with exacting specifications, including aerospace, medical/scientific, industrial and automotive.
  • insert molding to reduce complicated assemblies and eliminate labour intensive assembly processes

NanoXplore Plastics Vallorbe is a full-service partner, providing design, material selection, prototyping, mold manufacture, and production services.

Using proprietary tooling and exceptional manufacturing knowledge, we have proven experience providing customers with products requiring completing complex designs and tight specifications.

We have experience injection molding a very wide range of resins, including PEEK, PSU, PEI and LCP. Our machining equipment includes horizontal, vertical and parting plane molding machines with pressures from 15 to 150 metric tonnes.

Delson

NanoXplore Plastics’s Delson plant is a leading Canadian manufacturer of injection and blow molded plastic products. We manufacturer both standard and custom products for customers in a wide range of industries. Our high-quality equipment allows us to produce a wide range of products, available in different sizes, shapes, and colors.

The Delson plant makes a full-range of CFIA/FDA approved (food contact) packaging products in both High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). The HDPE and PET containers are up to 8 liters capacity and primarily used for the food, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.

Other blow molding products, in Polyethylene (PE) or Polypropylene (PP), are up to 100 liters capacity and used for food, recreational, and industrial products. Injection molded parts are available in PE, PP, Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Polystyrene (PS). We manufacturer both standard and custom products for customers and can either manufacturer from an existing specification or support customers by providing design, material selection, mold manufacture, and production services.
